Power and Character

There’s plenty of power on tap when you twist the CB750’s throttle, thanks to its Transalp-based twin-cylinder short-stroke engine. Big power, combined with the bike’s light overall weight, produces an impressive power-to-weight ratio that allows the CB750 to rival many bikes of larger displacement. What also sets this engine apart is its pleasing blend of power and character – you get a deep pulse at low revs that builds into a thrilling howl at higher rpm.

Linear Powerband

Lots of power, sure. But what you’ll also enjoy about the CB750 is how easy that power is to use, whether you’re commuting in the city or heading for the open road. Linear horsepower and torque delivery means predictable engine performance that inspires confidence, whether you’re an experienced motorcyclist or just beginning your riding adventures.

Unicam Technology

The engine’s eight-valve Unicam cylinder head – similar to the design used by the CRF450R motocrosser and Africa Twin – reduces engine weight, size, and internal friction, and also gave engineers more leeway in positioning the engine for the best possible overall centre of gravity. What’s the benefit of optimum center of gravity? Balanced, agile handling.

Selectable Torque Control

The CB750’s Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) controls torque output by detecting differences in the slip ratio between the front and rear wheels. When the rear tire loses traction on a slippery surface, HSTC instantly kicks in and suppress torque by controlling fuel injection to help inhibit rear-tire slip. The system also incorporates Wheelie Control, plus you can configure it in multiple ways (or turn it off) to suit the conditions or your riding style.

Slipper/Assist Clutch

A six-speed gearbox transmits engine power to the rear wheel via a slipper/assist clutch, which permits a light pull at the clutch lever and reduced risk of rear-wheel hop during rapid engine braking and downshifting. And to further validate the CB750’s sporty intentions, a quick-shifter comes as standard equipment.

chassis & suspension

2025 Honda CB750 ABSSolid Foundation

Barely visible, the CB750’s minimalist diamond-style steel frame helps to keep weight and center of gravity low while still providing a solid foundation for the engine and suspension. Wheelbase and rake and trail are all configured to produce the nimble handling you’d expect from a street fighter-styled sportbike. The frame design also allows a seat height of just 795 mm (31.3 in.), offering a comfortable reach to the ground for most riders.

2025 Honda CB750 ABSShowa Suspension

As befits a bike with the CB750’s celebrated heritage, premium Showa suspension is fitted front and rear. The Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function front Fork - Big Piston) 41 mm inverted fork uses a damping mechanism in one leg and only a spring in the other leg, which reduces sliding resistance and weight. At the back, a Showa shock with 10-step preload adjustment connects via Pro-Link to the swingarm.

2025 Honda CB750 ABSTriple Discs

The original 1969 CB750 was the first production motorcycle with a disc front brake. It got by with just one disc, but a modern sportbike needs two, so the CB750 slows and stops with a couple of big 296 mm rotors and radial-mounted calipers, plus a 240 mm disc at the rear.

2025 Honda CB750 ABSLightweight Wheels

Y-shape 17-inch cast-aluminum wheels not only look great, their lightweight design keeps crucial unsprung weight to a minimum. Less unsprung weight means better handling, particularly over less-than-smooth surfaces.

additional features

Adjustable Display

A bright five-inch TFT instrument display keeps you fully informed of all bike functions, plus ambient temperature, and current time. You can even select between three designs for how the information is displayed.

Comfortable Ergonomics

Its styling looks streetfighter-aggressive, yet the CB750 actually has a sensible riding position that remains comfortable even on long adventures. And if your ride takes you to sunset and beyond, you’ll appreciate the bright LED lighting front and back with self-cancelling LED turn signals.
